When my mom and sister were here we went to Sea World. We all had a blast. It is late and I am tired so I am not going to write much. So here are the pictures from Sea World.

Did you know Flamingos are pink because they eat lots of shrimp?

Layla is in Jourdan's clothes here watching the flamingos. She managed to throw up on her first outfit and the stroller. Then again later in the day on her second outfit. So all I had left were Jourdan's clothes.

I don't know why this cow is wearing glasses and shorts but...it is. Anna and Jourdan are mooing.

The Amazing Layla

Sorry I haven't been posting a lot. I have tons of pictures from when my mom was here and from various other activities. My computer has been complaining a lot so I am in the process of removing some of the 25,000 pictures off the hard drive. I only had 1 GB of space left last week on my computer. Opps. Anyway, until I make some room I can't put the pictures from my mom on my computer. So instead I have a couple of pictures from my camera phone of Layla's progress these past couple of weeks.

In the past couple of weeks Layla has started sitting up on her own, crawling, going from crawling to sitting, pulling up to her knees and just the other day pulling up to her feet and bouncing (This just in...Layla took a couple of steps while standing just a few minutes ago!). All in the past couple weeks. It's been quite amazing. Jourdan spread all these milestones out. I guess Layla wanted to get them out of the way all at once. She has also been eating "real" food and talking. I like to think mama is her favorite word but Eaan thinks dada is because she said that first. She talks to herself (and others) all the time, laughs (at people/things), has facial expressions and is mobile. Everything is a lot less blob like and more little person like.

Jourdan loves his little sister. They play together all the time. Although he doesn't like it when she takes his toys. Here they were playing with Jourdan's cars. And he didn't even mind. Amazing.

Layla loves all things Jourdan. She is fascinated by him.

Pink Dresses and Firemen

So before I continue with pictures from when my mom was here I am going to post pictures from when I went to Phoenix last month. I totally forgot about these pictures. I don't know why they are too cute. I took these with my Aunt's point and shoot. (I forgot my camera...gasp!) Anyway I think this trip was probably Jourdan's favorite. We hung out with our awesome cousins. Raya and Layla love their pink matching dresses.

And Cael and Jourdan love their scooters.

And we got to go see fire trucks!!!!!

The highlight of the whole trip.

Our Uncle Lance works for the Phoenix Fire Department. The kids got to go for a ride in one of the fire trucks. They were all smiles.

Then it was time for a ride in the bucket!

My little fireman had so much fun! He loved the sirens and lights. He wasn't even scared. Gotta love that little boy!

8 Month Old Cuteness

Little miss Layla was 8 months yesterday, all 20 pounds of her. She has so many rolls I can't count them all! So basically I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to post a whole bunch of photos of Layla from when my mom was here. We went to the beach on the first day my mom and Anna visited. Layla looked so cute so naturally we had to take...oh a couple hundred pictures. Don't worry there aren't a couple hundred pictures in this post. But there are a lot. So if you don't want a Layla overload then I would stop here...

My mom took most of these pictures on her D90 but I got a few shots in. I didn't take any pictures with my camera when she was here because my mom's camera pretty much rocks. I just stole her camera whenever I could. Plus we have some awesome videos. Didn't I promise a video awhile ago too? Hummm. I guess there will be a couple video posts coming soon.

Get ready for the cuteness to begin...

She has been sitting by herself for awhile now and she just started crawling last week. She makes Jourdan so mad because she gets into all of his things!
