Time For ANOTHER Haircut

We sat him in front of the TV and put on "Finding Nemo".

Jourdan normally cries when he gets his hair cut,
but this time he was pretty good.
Must be that Nemo.

Kit's Graduation Party

My little cousin Kit just graduated from high school! Congratulations Kit! We went up to her house for her graduation party in the beginning of June. I was expecting a small party but when we pulled up there were tons of cars there. I guess my little cousin is popular! We had a great time seeing family and of course seeing Kit. We definitely don't get to hang out enough so it was great to see her.

The only part I didn't enjoy was the excessive heat.

Jefferson Patterson Park :: Children's Day @ the Farm

In the beginning of June we went to Jefferson Patterson Park for Children's Day at the Farm. There were horses, ponies, bunnies, goats, games and funnel cakes (the best part). Jourdan had his first pony ride and Anna painted a fabulous picture.

When we saw these clouds rolling in we decided it was time to leave.
We got to the car just in time.

James Island

A couple weeks ago we went to James Island. It's an island in the Chesapeake Bay. We took my step dad's boat over to it and spent most of the day there. My mom and I took these pictures. It's hard to keep track now that we have two of us taking pictures all the time. Don't know which ones she took and which ones I took. Anyway, Jourdan absolutely loves boats and the beach. He was scared of the boat at first...

...but than he got used to it.

And had a beer. Just kidding. He was holding GaGa's beer.

Anna was having lots of fun too.

When we got to James Island we put all our stuff on the beach,
lounged around and grilled hot dogs and hamburgers. The perfect day.

We had to move down the beach to get into the sun. We picked the only place on the beach that was shaded at first because it was so hot. As it got cooler we wanted more sun so we had to move. Sigh, you can't have everything. We challenged Tommy to carry pretty much all our stuff down the beach, including Anna. Of course he accepted and Anna almost cried.

I'm not sure why she was so scared...
it wasn't like he was going to drop her. Until he did.

When it started to get dark we went home.
There was a beautiful sunset.

I love Maryland.

Tornado Warning

We have been having severe thunderstorms these past couple of weeks. The storms have been knocking down trees, downing powerlines, producing hail and tornadoes. Last week we had a nice storm. I get excited when we have severe weather, it's a sickness. We actually went down into the basement because the severe thunderstorm that came through produced a tornado. The tornado decided it wanted to come right for us. We had the warning on the TV to "take cover now" and everything. It was exciting. This was actually the first time we had to go into our basement because the storm was so bad. I had to wake Jourdan up but he thought it was fun. He did learn to act scared from Anna though.
