We started off August with a big birthday bash for the little kiddos. Their birthdays are 4 days apart at the end of August but since we were moving August 10th we had a San Diego birthday party on the 1st. Jourdan turned 3 and Layla turned 1. All of our San Diego family came. It was sad because we knew this was one of the last times we would all be together. When you are in the military it is always hard to make close friends because you know you are going to get re-stationed and have to leave everyone. But the best way to leave is to have a big party! We decided to do a beach party for the kids.
Our friend, Jessica, made a phenomenal cake for the kids. They each had their own personal cake and then a palm tree for the main cake.

My Abby-licious / Jourdan's future wife. :)
And a beach party would not be complete without sand!
Present time!
Jourdan looks so excited for his cake, doesn't he? Don't worry he dug in as soon as we were done singing Happy Birthday.
Ok now get ready for all the group shots!
This is my love, Amber. I miss her bunches. And she loves my kids bunches. I think she kinda likes me too. :)
