Carving Pumpkins

So now that we had the pumpkins we actually had to carve them. Which we did on Halloween. We crammed it in between school and trick-or-treating. Even though we were rushed it was a lot of fun. Jourdan and Layla were decked out in their Halloween attire. Check out the pumpkin socks.

Carving Pumpkins

As most of you know, Jourdan can't live without his blue puppy. He sleeps with it, brings it in the car, carries it around with him and whenever he is hurt or upset he needs his blue puppy. So I bought 3 of them. I rotate them so they all get worn. When one gets dirty I give him a clean one, wash the dirty one and hide it away. That way if he loses one I have back ups. Anyway, the point to my rambling is sometimes he finds one of the hidden puppies. Like he did on Halloween. Opps. It's hard to get one away from him after that. Usually one of the puppies "takes a bath" and never comes back.

Carving Pumpkins

Ok, back to pumpkin carving. Everyone is carving their pumpkins. I would like to point out that there are numerous sharp knives on the table, beer and Jose Cuervo. I am surprised no one lost a finger...or a hand.

Carving Pumpkins

Jourdan didn't want to touch the pumpkin guts because it was "ewww, gross".

Carving Pumpkins

Layla just watched the madness from her bouncer.

Carving Pumpkins

The madness.

So a couple beers and a Halloween cake later (you can see the cake on Jourdan's face)...we finished our pumpkins. Anna's pumpkin is crying and of course the Bud Light one is Eaan's.
